My family of 4 will be arriving at Orlando airport at 3pm Sunday and are renting a car. We currently have a reservation for dinner in Downtown Disney at 5:15. Will we be able to make this reservation? How long should it take to get through the airport?

    Hi Karen!

I believe that you will have enough  time to get to your Advanced Dining Reservation at Downtown Disney at 5:15 pm if you land at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) at 3:00 pm.  It typically can take between 30 and 45 minutes after you land to pick up your luggage at baggage claim and get your rental car (I would predict that you will be heading out of the Orlando Airport in your rental car between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm).  Walt Disney World Property is approximately a 25-30 minute drive from the Orlando International Airport.  If you drive directly to Downtown Disney, then you should arrive there between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm with time to spare before your dinner.  I would recommend bringing a GPS system with you or renting one from the car rental agency to help you with the driving directions.  I always bring my GPS with me when I rent a car on my Walt DIsney World vacations.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
