Hi- My family of 4 is arriving on 12/14. I have a non-visible medical condition and will visit guest relations to get a pass. What questions do they ask? Can I just show my NJ DMV Disabled Person ID? What do I have to show? Thanks!

    Hi there Jennifer!

We were able to use the Guest Assistance Card "GAC" last year. My father has a hard time walking long distances and also has trouble with waiting in long lines due to other medical issues. To make sure my Dad was able to receive the Guest Assistance Card, I had him go to all of his doctors and had them write a recommendation and a small explanation of his disability. When we arrived at Guest Relations they looked at the letter and wrote up the GAC for the duration of the trip. The GAC does not automatically allow you front of line privileges but it will give you a more relaxed location to wait for the next available time to go on a ride or take in a show. The GAC allows you to take up to a total of six guests on the ride. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
