Hi. Family and I will be arriving 7/18/10 for 11 nights at Port Orleans Riverside. We are flying in and out of Tampa. Does Disney provide transportation? If not, what would your best suggestion be? Seems like most car rentals are VERY expensive. Fran

Hi, Francis! Your WDW vacation is just around the corner, and I'm sure you're getting excited. Tampa is a beautiful city by the bay, and the Tampa International Airport is approximately an hour and 25 minutes away from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Unfortunately for you, Disney only provides complimentary transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport by way of Magical Express. Therefore, you will need to either rent a car or contract with an airport shuttle or car service in Tampa. If I were you, I would look online at the various rental car discounts and offers and compare them to the shuttles and car services in Central Florida. My preference would be to have a car since it would be easier to visit the various areas of WDW as well as provide the flexibility to pick up supplies off property. However, there is complimentary transportation within you will want to take that under consideration as well. Let me know if you have more questions. I'd be happy to help. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
