Hi there, Claudia - welcome back to
planDisney!
It's great to see you back here with another question - that's how we know we're being helpful!
Late arrivals are quite common at Walt Disney World Resort, and you shouldn't have to worry about a thing! There is no need to contact your Resort in advance to explain your situation. All you'll need to do is complete your online check-in and your room will be ready and waiting for you to enjoy a great night's sleep before hitting the Theme Parks the next day!
Online check-in should be available starting about 60 days prior to your arrival, and you can complete the process on the
Walt Disney World Resort website, or using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Just make sure that your reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account first. On the day of your arrival, you'll receive updates in the app (or via another method you select) about your room and will receive your room number when it's ready. Upon arriving at your
Resort, you can
go straight to your room and use the app or a MagicBand linked to your account to open the door. You can always swing by the Front Desk if you need assistance locating your room, or would like a standard Key to the World Card for room access.
Have you ever experienced the spooky fun of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? You're visiting in October, so this is a great way to add some extra pixie dust to what I'm sure will already be a magical vacation! Be sure to
stop by with any other questions as you continue planning, Claudia!
