Hi Angela!
How exciting that your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is next month!! You're going to love Shades of Green. They even have a mini-exchange with souvenirs and forgotten necessities that are free of sales tax!
Of the various
Character Dining experiences across Walt Disney World Resort, Chef Mickey's, Ohana and 1900 Park Fare are closest to Shades of Green, with Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Cinderella's Royal Table, and breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno featuring Disney Princesses. Dining Reservations do open six months in advance of vacation dates, so it might seem like you have slim pickings. However, I'm known as the 'last minute mom' who usually starts making all of our plans around this time, and pixie dust is real. Finding a reservation at one of these locations can happen, but you'll need to check often. I like looking for dining reservations on the
My Disney Experience App while in line at the bank or for school pick up. Pro tip: look for a later breakfast reservation. As long as a reservation is open, you'll still be seated and treated with the full character dining experience that location offers.
If Character Dining doesn't work out, you can visit your favorite Princesses in their
meet & greet locations. Epcot alone hosts Anna and Elsa, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, and Snow White. And you definitely won't want to miss the 3 O'Clock
Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom Park. Grab some curb space on Main Street U.S.A. around 2:15/2:30 P.M. for the perfect front-row waving spots.
We'll See You Real Soon!
