Hi, Wilson! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I always arrive earlier than the specified 3pm check-in time - I'm just way too excited to let the magic begin! I have no doubt you will be too. Here's what you need to do on your arrival day to get the party started as early as possible.
If you are a registered guest of Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you are more than welcome to arrive on-property anytime you wish and park your car so you may use Disney Bus Transportation to head out to your first theme park. When you approach the arrival gate, make sure to have a photo ID and your MagicBand out and ready. You can even go ahead and store your luggage with Bell Services instead of leaving it in your car.
Another important tip is to take advantage of the
Online Check-In option available through your My Disney Experience Account. By completing the Online Check-In process, you are able to indicate your anticipated arrival time and have a text message/email sent to you when your room is ready - it's very convenient, super easy, and can be done up to 60 days prior to your arrival. To complete Online Check-In, login to your My Disney Experience Account from the Walt Disney World® Resort website and select "My Reservations & Tickets." From there you'll see your reservation and a blue "Online Check-In" button to the right, select that link to get started.
Even when I complete Online Check-In, I still stop by the front desk so they know I am on-property and waiting. I've gotten lucky quite a few times with an early-ready room! It's worth the stop by the front desk before you head out.
I hope this is helpful in planning your arrival day, Wilson! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions.
