    My family and I will be arriving 1/9/2013 for the Disney world marathon-will Christmas decorations still be up, or more importantly, when are they taken down?

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    I understand that the Christmas decorations will remain in place until the end of the week of New Year's Day.  Next year this would be around 5th January when you would expect them to be removed.  However, I have heard that some decorations, such as the tree at the Magic Kingdom, could stay up longer than that.  I hope you manage to see the last of the decorations, they really are very lovely.
