My family and I will be arriving at the Comtemporary on 9/19 in the late afternoon...what are the pros/cons of online check in?

There are definitely more pros for the on line check in for the average guest.  You can avoid long lines at the resorts and it is quite fast and painless as they will have your room keys ( if room is available at check in time) and all other information ready for you to pick up and start your great magical vacation.  It basically is a great time saver for the guests and if you don't like lines this is the way to go.

The biggest con is often guests like to see where their room is going to be and if they want to request something different it is going to be more difficult since keys are made prior to your arrival.  If you are going to request other services as well it is almost better to go the regular route of check-in.  I have also found that sometimes the on-line check-in line is used to serve regular guests so you end up waiting anyway.
