Disney's Magical Express

My family and I will be arriving on 9th August from the UK and we were wondering can we use the magical express luggage drop off at Orlando airport? If so how do we get the right luggage tags?

    Hi Stephen!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

After that long transatlantic flight from the UK it is nice to let someone else do the driving for you, and why not put your feet up on the complimentary motorcoach, Disney’s Magical Express, which will transport you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel.  Even though you will not have yellow luggage tags, it is still possible for your luggage to be delivered for you.  If Orlando International Airport is your first point of entry into the United States, please follow the U.S. Customs & Border Protection process and claim your luggage, then proceed to Disney's Magical Express on Side B, Level 1 and report to the service counter.  You will need to present your baggage claim numbers (that you will have received when checking-in at your UK airport).  These will then be attached to your reservation, and your luggage will magically show up in your Disney Resort hotel room!  Please note that this can take up to three hours to arrive, so ensure you have your essential items in your carry-on bag, including swimwear if you fancy taking a dip in the Resort hotel pool when you arrive!  Guests are advised to wear their MagicBands or at least not to pack them in checked luggage because they are used to to check in with Disney’s Magical Express and to unlock your room when you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, but please note that this does not apply to International Guests as we will only receive our MagicBands at check-in at our Disney Resort hotel.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on events that may be happening during your stay.
