Hi! My family and I are arriving on April 7 for our WDW vacation! I am also really excited about the new Magic Band 2! I was wondering if we would be recieving the new or old Magic Bands in the mail before our vacation. Thanks for your help!

Hi Catherine! Everyone has been anxiously waiting for the new Magic Band 2 to be available for all guests. Participants in the D23 Expo this past fall were some of the first to receive and try them out.

I can now say that all guests with future Disney reservations will receive these new bands. Be sure and get to your My Disney Experience accounts and personalize your band. You are still able to select a color and a name for each new band. I come often so I like to have one in each color active which allows me to be fashion minded when I set out each day. My family laughs but I do like to match! The bands will be mailed as before to you in plenty of time before your vacation start date. Enjoy!
