My family will arrive WDW ~8pm on New Years Eve. we have 2 young kids (1 1/2 and 4) I heard it's impossible to get into the parks that late on NYE. what's the best place to see firework outside the park so they don't get crashed by the crowd?

I have the perfect viewing location for you and your children on New Year's Eve, Evelyn.  Book a fun dinner at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort for early in the evening.  Then, after dinner, stroll out onto the beach at this resort.  This is one of my favorite places in all of Walt Disney World from which to view Wishes!  It isn't crowded and the view is breath-taking!  Just be sure to take a jacket because it can be chilly in the evening at that time of year.

Wishing you a magical New Year's Eve!
