My family will arrive in Orlando at about 6am on a Monday. Check-in is not until 4pm and we will have a long flight from Alaska. What would you recommend we should do to best use our time? We are two adults with a 9 and a 2 year old kids.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rosa!

There's no better way to start out your Walt Disney World vacation than to arrive at the start of a new day.  Although check-in is technically later in the afternoon,  you should head straight to the front desk upon arrival to your resort.  You are welcome to utilize all the facilities at your resort even though your room will likely not be ready.  What's more?  You can check any unneeded bags with Bell Services.

My best suggestion for an early arrival after a long journey from Alaska?  Pack your swim gear in a carry-on and relax by the pool and get to know your resort as well.  Plan a nice dinner on property and get to bed early to prepare for an action-packed adventure the next day! Enjoy, and have a fabulous trip!

    Magically yours in 2018,
