Our family has APs and use magic bands. We recently made reservations to stay at Port Orleans. I understand that we will be sent new magic bands with our room reservation. Will all our bands (current and new) be linked to use interchangeably?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Yes, your annual passholder MagicBands and the ones you receive during resort stays are interchangeable, as long as you do not deactive them in your My Disney Experience account. Besides my Florida Resident Passholder band, I have six other active MagicBands covering every color.

I usually pack two or three MagicBands for each visit so that I have choices and a spare in case I misplace one. The batteries are designed to last about two years.

You can manage your MagicBands, including activating and deactivating them, in My Disney Experience. Just go to the MagicBands & Cards section to see all the ones that have been assigned to you and your family.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if I can help in any other way. Enjoy!
