Hi! If my family has annual passes, but we are traveling with another family (on a separate reservation) who does not. Do they need to purchase Memory Maker, or will my PhotoPass work for them too? I want to make sure all the kiddos can scan their bands!

Hello Lauren, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about Memory Maker.

My favorite thing about being an Annual Passholder is that I can walk into any theme park at Walt Disney World any day of the year, and the fact that I get the use of a Memory Maker for my entire trip! Your friends will not need to purchase a Memory Maker to capture all of their magical photos during your trip. The will need to update some permission in their My Disney Experience accounts.

I would recommend that you invite everyone in the other family to connect to your “My Family and Friends List” in My Disney Experience. Once each person has accepted your invitation, they will need to give their permission to share their photos with you. By clicking update next to your name, they will have the option to share their plans with you and to allow you to see their My PhotoPass Photos. Checking that box will allow all of your friends’ photos taken by Disney's PhotoPass Photographers to be added to your Memory Maker account. Since you are the owner of the Memory Maker, you are the only person that has the ability to edit, crop and download their photos. You can reassign download privileges to your friend, but you will need to make sure they reassign them back to you after they have downloaded all of their photos.

    Say cheese,
    Andrea
