Bonjour, Lori!
Thanks for putting planDisney's service to the test - tie your napkin 'round your neck and I'll provide an answer!
I'm so happy to hEAR you have plans to dine in Beast's enchanted castle at
Magic Kingdom Park during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. When you visit
Be Our Guest Restaurant, you'll feel as though you've stepped right into the classic Disney animated film -
Beauty and the Beast!
There are three distinct dining areas inside the castle: The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing, and The Castle Gallery. In the Ballroom, you'll enjoy views of a light winter's snow falling outside the windows, and be seated under a beautiful chandelier and a mural of cherub angels. The Castle Gallery is centered around a giant music box, with a twirling Belle and Beast on top - so pretty! The West Wing is my favorite area, where you can see the Beast's enchanted rose and catch a glimpse of Beast in the painting on the wall whenever "lightning" strikes - it's so cool. No matter where you're seated, make sure to take a peek at all of the dining areas during your visit. The theming is amazing!
Pro tip: Take a good look at the cherub angels painted on the ceiling in the Grand Ballroom. The faces of the angels are either modeled after Disney Imagineers' babies, the Imagineers themselves as babies, and you might just see a few that have adult Imagineer faces on tiny baby bodies. See if you can spot them!
I'm sorry you've had trouble making reservations to accommodate your party of five. On recent visits, when I've checked in for dining reservations on the
My Disney Experience mobile app, I've been given the option to add one guest (no more than one) to my reservation at the time of check-in. This should hopefully be the case when you do the same! You might also want to stop by the hostess stand earlier in the day to let them know you'll have a party of five, and see if you can combine your two reservations. While I can't guarantee they would be able to accommodate your request, it never, ever hurts to ask. Sometimes you'll get a bit of pixie dust!
Now, I invite you to relax, pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents...your dinner.
Have a magical day!
Diane W.
