    Hello. Our family always plans a resort day into our Disney vacations. We are really looking forward to the experiences that await us at AKKV. What are the un publicized and lesser known things to do at AKKV and AKJH?

    Hi Steven! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you...from grazing giraffes to the beauty of exotic birds and mouth watering cuisine, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is one of the most culturally enriching vacation spots you'll come across at Walt Disney World Resort. It's our home resort and still my all time favorite place to stay.

    Taking in all the fun activities the resort has to offer is a definite must for us - starting with Samawati Springs Pool it's the perfect place to have a splashing magical time!

    Learn to play African drums in Drum Cafe. We love hearing personal stories about life in Africa from Cast Members in African Journey. For adventure, get an up close look at the savannas on the Wanyama Safari followed by a family-style dinner at Jiko. If you like wine experience the wine regions of South Africa with a Wine Tasting at Jiko. As you can see there are a ton of activities available so be sure to review your resort itinerary, which outlines daily activities and events.

    Lastly be sure to stop in at Johari Treasures for the perfect memento of your visit to "Africa."
