Hi Mario! Welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to help you get started on planning your
Walt Disney World vacation! I just know you are going to have the time of your life, so why waste another second? Let’s get that vacation booked, shall we?!
When booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation,
a deposit of $200 is required at the time of booking (though that amount is subject to change). That amount is per reservation, covering all family members in your vacation package. So, there is only one $200 deposit required for the group. Once your vacation package is booked, it’s important to remember that payment on your remaining balance is due 30 days before your scheduled check-in date. I like to set a reminder on my calendar, so I don’t forget.
Now, while your Walt Disney World Resort vacation reservation is booked for the entire group, I do want to note that a
park pass reservation is required for each individual member of your party. These are booked separately from your vacation package. As a reminder, you'll need to make a reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you've purchased the
Park Hopper Option, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. To make your park pass reservations, log into your
My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar, and “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve.
Mario, we just love helping fellow Guests like you as they plan their magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations, so please stop by again with any questions you may have! We're here to help you every step of the way!
Have a magical day!
Diana
