Welcome back to planDisney, Mary Ann! Multi-generational trips to Walt Disney World can be an especially magical way for families to make unforgettable memories together. I'm happy to offer some suggestions for your trip this fall.
Currently, the fireworks and nighttime spectaculars throughout Walt Disney World resort are paused as part of the pandemic-related
health and safety measures in place. As a result, all fireworks specialty cruises, too, are temporarily unavailable.
Now that we have the unpleasant news out of the way, we can move on to the good stuff. Did you know that Walt Disney World is celebrating it's
50th anniversary this year? The festivities kick off on October 1 and include special touches in each of the four theme parks. Your family trip is perfectly-timed to be able to experience The World's Most Magical Celebration! I would recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for further announcements about this extra special event and any associated offerings.
Since you're traveling with a large family, it might be the perfect opportunity to capture some of these moments on camera. Have you considered
Memory Maker? It allows you to download all of your images for a single price. You can share them, print them and frame as many of them as you like.
Have you started thinking about
dining reservations yet? Some of the best locations for large parties include
Biergarten,
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant and
Whispering Canyon Cafe.
Your family is sure to have a wild time on this upcoming trip, Mary Ann. If we can be of further assistance, definitely stop by planDisney again. We're so happy to help!
