Hello. My family and will again be staying on property, and making our dinner reservations 180 days before arrival in Disney. How do we get the best tables at these restaurants? In example, sitting near the dancers in the Irish Pub.

Hi Lisa! Making your dining reservations at 180 days in advance of your Walt Disney World arrival is very important. You do not want to be disappointed in not getting a restaurant of your choice. The good thing about Disney is that they offer so many super choices so it can be hard to select just a few.

When making your reservation you are simply booking the space that will seat your party size. You are not booking a specific area or table. Some places do have tiered seating such as the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue and the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. You can actually select the general location of your seating at these two spots.

Other restaurants do not reserve space. If you wish to be in a specific location it is best to talk with the restaurant desk when you check in. Let them know you will be willing to wait for a specific area if at all possible. Some restaurants have only certain size tables in areas and can't change that so please be understanding.

Hope you get that special table close to those Irish dancers as they are spectacular and so much fun to watch!
