Our family, 4 adults and 1 5 year old is planning our first Disney vacation first week in January 2016. Are meal plans worth it? My 5 year old is extremely picky about what she eats. I was wondering if I should fool with a meal plan for her?

    Hi Jeremy,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have two peaky eaters myself. You should not, in that case, have a Disney Meal Plan. Not always, the food will please your little girl and because is a huge amount of food per day, most of it ends up going to the trash. But you can’t have the meal plan just for the adults. Have to be for everybody that is going with you on this trip. I’ve saved tons of money, bringing snacks that my kids like and eventually having they eat with me at some restaurant. The portions at WDW are generous. You can read more info and great reviews about Disney Dining Plan at Touring Plans. At the official Disney webpage, you can see all the menus in advance, in order to help you decide whether to get or not the plan. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more doubts.

    Have a magical day!
