Hi Maureen! Welcome to planDisney!
It's always great to get a large group together at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I was able to take a large family trip a couple of years ago and it was special being able to share the magical moments with everyone. You have the right idea about booking three different rooms for each family. With the amount of time you are going to spend together each day, it is always nice knowing you have your own place to return to each night to recharge.
Oh boy! the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is a great choice! You can't find a better location than being right in the middle of two parks and steps away from
Disney's Boardwalk. You are practically right in the middle of most of the action!
It seems like you have already linked one of the rooms successfully to your
My Disney Experience account. Depending on how you booked each of the rooms, it is possible that you do not have the correct confirmation codes for the other two rooms. When booking your stay through a third-party site, the confirmation number that is provided upon the completion of your order is not always the same number needed to link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account. I would start by scanning the confirmation email that was sent to you from your booking to see if you come across a Disney-specific confirmation code. If not, your best bet will be to call the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and ask them to pull up your reservation information. They should be able to provide you with the correct information to use for your My Disney Experience account. If you booked each room directly through the
Walt Disney Travel Company, I would still suggest calling the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel directly for assistance. This hotel has a direct number to reach them, unlike Disney Resorts Hotels.
Linking your hotel reservations to your account will give you access to one of the biggest perks of staying at this hotel. You are allowed
Early Theme Park Entry to any of the four parks each day. This will give you an advantage over other Guests that are not staying at a Disney Resorts Hotel or other select hotels each park day. You are allowed to enter the parks 30 minutes before the official park opening time. I suggest using this time to ride one of the popular attractions at the park you are visiting that typically has long wait times throughout the day. This way you can utilize your time later to enjoy other experiences the park has to offer.
Maureen, I'm so excited for you to visit the Walt Disney World Resort next month with your family! I hope you all have a magical stay!
See ya real soon!
