My family (4 adults, 1 4YO, 1 2YO) will be 1st time WDW guests at Ft Wilderness Cabins 1/29 through 2/3! Want to attend the 3pm Pixar Pals Parade @ HS on 2/2 but have 5:15pm reservations with Chef Mickey @ Contemporary. Will we have enough travel time?

Wow your trip is coming up quickly and you must be very excited!

Fort Wilderness is one of my favorite spots at Walt Disney World. We love the quiet atmosphere after spending days in parks. Be sure to have time to enjoy the facilities of this resort area such as Chip and Dales Campfire Singalong, pony rides, fishing, etc.

Although I never encourage families to rush during their visits, with careful planning I do think you can make both the Hollywood Studios parade at 3pm and also your Chef Mickey reservation at 5:15.  Here are a few suggestions to help this happen as smoothly as possible.

*First try to find a good spot at the end of the Hollywood Boulevard so you are close to the exits.  You will waste a lot of time trying to get through crowds when leaving the park if you watch at the other end of the parade route.
*Quickly head to the Contemporary Resort bus stop.  Remember the wait can be up to about 20 minutes if you are not lucky enough to have one waiting. (I am never lucky.)
*Chef Mickey is located on the fourth floor of the Contemporary Resort and take the escalators as they will be faster then elevators most of the time.
*When you have finished dinner find your way to the boat docks at the Contemporary and take the boat back to Fort Wilderness.

This will be a wonderful and full day for you but enjoy!
