Hi Sarah,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Although we have purchased theme park tickets through travel agencies in the past, I now purchase tickets online directly from the Walt Disney World Resort. From there, I can easily link park tickets to
My Disney Experience. I also always check the
Special Offers and buy some sort of vacation package. The Magic Your Way Vacation packages are great ways to combine a resort hotel with theme park tickets.
My family also typically purchases a
dining plan as a part of our vacation package. With three teenagers, food could be expensive. Purchasing a dining plan gives me a good estimate of the food costs, but also is a good value for my family because, in addition to the meal entitlements, we love the snacks and refillable mugs. Our girls probably refill those mugs at least three times a day at the resort.
Sarah, given the ages of your children, I would suggest that you visit Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme parks. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, head for Toy Story Land and the Star Wars attractions. Our girls also love the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. At Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, be sure to ride Avatar Flight of Passage. Flying through the valley of Mo'ara on the back of an ikran is spectacular. Sivako - Rise to the challenge!
Happy Planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
