Your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is fast approaching! The Halloween season will be in full swing when you arrive. It’s one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The weather will almost certainly be hot and humid, but the end of August also tends to see lighter crowds!
To answer your question,
purchasing theme park tickets on the Walt Disney World Resort website is straightforward. From the welcome page, navigate to the “Parks & Tickets” tab, and select “Buy Theme Park Tickets.” From here you will select the number of days you’d like to visit the parks, the start date of your tickets, and how many tickets you’ll need. From there, simply follow the prompts to complete your purchase. It’s that easy!
As of this writing, the only other payment options available on the website, besides a debit or credit card, are a Disney Gift Card or a Disney Rewards Redemption Card. If this does not apply to the discount card you are referring to, I suggest
contacting Walt Disney World Resort directly. A friendly Cast Member will be able to answer your questions and let you know if you can apply that card toward the purchase of your theme park tickets.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is hosted on select nights in August through October. It’s a frightfully fun time for Guests of all ages, and I highly recommend it! The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival also begins on August 27. You may even be able to catch the start of the festival! There will be plenty of delicious eats and sips at the Global Marketplaces, along with great artists and local acts performing during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
