Family of 6 - 3 adults, one 14 yr daughter & 2 five yr old sons, planning a trip for March. Reserving a 2 bedroom villa at Old Key West or Saratoga Springs. What resort should we choose. Also - where do we start on planning 7 day vacation?

    Hi Sandy!

While I've never stayed at Old Key West, I absolutely love the Saratoga Springs Resort.  It truly has that relaxed resort atmosphere that it promises.  My children give the pool, arcade and community center a big thumbs up.  My favorite benefit of staying at Saratoga Springs is its proximity to Downtown Disney.  It may look like quite a walk, but my family makes it to Downtown Disney in less than 10 minutes of walking!

My sons could spend an entire day at  the Lego Imagination Center, located in Downtown Disney.  I'm sure your daughter will find plenty of shopping opportunities, especially at World of Disney.  Both of these locations are within walking distance of Saratoga Springs.

Beginning 90 days prior to your arrival, I highly recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservations.  My best tip is to check out the various Disney related websites that are out there and make planning even more fun by including everyone's input.  With seven days to enjoy WDW, everyone wins!
