We are a family of 2 adults, 2 kids, and a toddler! reservations feb. 3-9 at movies resort preferred, for a little more we can upgrade to riverside. Should we do that OR get an extra room adjoining at movies? Just worried about space and children!

If it's helpful in your decision making process, Stacy, I can tell you that the standard rooms at Port Orleans Riverside are not all that much more spacious than those at the All Star Movies.  There is a difference of roughly 55 square feet.  So if you're upgrading for space alone, it may not be worth it.  Of course, Port Orleans Riverside does offer some additional perks to include a table-service restaurant, lounge and more detailed theming.  Personally, I love it there.  And I can tell you that my family of six once stayed in a standard room there (when my youngest was under the age of three).  It was a tight fit, but considering the minimal amount of time we spent in the room, we managed just fine.  Good luck with your decision!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
