    My family of 5 (2adults, kids - 13,15,16) are planning a trip to WDW. We really want to stay at POR. How big are the new drop down beds? Are they big enough for a teenager? Thanks for your help.

    Hi there, Michelle!

    Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is undergoing a series of incredible "rolling refurbishments".

    The queen bed rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of the Resort features trundle beds for smaller Guests, which are being replaced with Murphy-style drop-down beds.

    These beds are approximately 70" x 30" and are best suited for Guests under five feet tall.

    Since the trundles these beds are replacing are typically good for children, the thinking is that these Murphy beds would be an even swap.

    A booking of five Guests in one room would ensure that you do receive this size/type of room. Make sure you mention your party size to your reservationist at (407) W-DISNEY.
