Hey there, Jason!
Walt Disney World Resort and a cruise on the same vacation is my favorite way to travel. I'm glad you stopped by
planDisney to help you with your magical adventure.
If you have booked a
Disney Land and Sea vacation, you can add ground transfers between
Port Canaveral and your
Disney Collections Resort hotel. Disney buses are available to whisk you from your
Disney Cruise Line ship to the Most Magical Place on Earth, making the debarkation blues a bit easier to accept.
If you are sailing with another cruise line, you will need to arrange transportation to Walt Disney World. I have had friends say using a rideshare service like Lyft works well. I have used private services, like Happy Limo, even when Disney Ground Transportation was an option to get me to my Disney ship. I liked being able to make a quick stop along the way to pick up a few items at a convenience store. You can find many of these services online and compare pricing to find the best option for your family.
If you want that cruise feeling to last a little longer, my family loves Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera. The pastries they bring with breakfast and Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy dancing feel a lot like being on a Disney cruise.
And speaking of tasty breakfasts, be sure to enjoy the beignets at
Disney Port Orleans - French Quarter. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
SEAS the Day!
