Hello, my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 5,11months) will be visiting is July for the first time. We are staying at a resort 18mins away from Disney and will drive to the parks can we leave the park and come back in the same day we will visit 1 pk/day

Hey Amber, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You and your family are going to have such a fun time at Walt Disney World this July!

I think you'll be happy to know that if you have a 1 park per day ticket, you can leave and re-enter the same park as many times as you want that day.  I love to hit up the parks early in the morning, leave around lunchtime for an afternoon swim and then return for the fireworks in the evening.

If you don't want to drive back to your resort everyday, keep in mind you can always hop over to one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. There are some fun spots to take a break from the heat and maybe grab a bite to eat or just enjoy some cool air conditioning. When I am at Magic Kingdom Park, I love to hop on the monorail and head over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Upstairs, at the Tambu Lounge, I love to grab a snack and a cocktail and enjoy the view of Cinderella Castle. It really is a great break from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions about your trip, I'd love for you to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
