My family 3adults & 3kids (10,9,7) are coming 3/26-4/1 (2 rooms). What is the better resort for us to stay at? Port Orleans Riverside or the Caribbean? It seems like the Caribbean offers more for the kids but that it is more dif. to navigate to parks

    Hi Trisha!

A lot of guests love Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and go back year after year after year.  However, I think the resort is too large and hard to get around.  I would only recommend staying there if you have your own car.  That's also how I feel about all of the very large Disney resorts that have their own internal bus.

I love Port Orleans Riverside.  It's my favorite Disney Moderate Resort.  It also recently "won" an unofficial poll of the panelists on the panel.  It has a lot to offer children.  It has a great pool with a relatively large slide (though the theming of the pool is not as good as it is at Caribbean Beach).  I also love that it has boat service to Downtown Disney; that's an especially fun and relaxing trip at night.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
