Hey Howdy Hey, Cammy!
Welcome to planDisney. I’ll be more than happy to help prepare your family to play in
Andy’s Backyard!
Slinky Dog Dash is a family favorite. My oldest is 10 years old and he is obsessed with this family coaster. I mean belly laughs obsessed! Now, both of my Mouseketeers are a little older than your group of toys, but it hasn’t always been like that. About 4 years ago we enjoyed a mom-and-kids trip and I had the same worry the day we went to Hollywood Studios. Luckily, I explained to the Cast Members at the attraction our situation and they provided us with some options.
When we rode I kept my youngest with me and they paired my oldest with a single rider, directly in front of me. While we all weren’t sitting together, we were in the same cart and got to enjoy the attraction together. Something like this could work with the twins. Otherwise, I recommend chatting with the Cast Member at the front to set up a
Rider Switch option that would work best for you.
Cast Members are so accommodating and understanding they will provide you with a great solution. I just know you’ll all have the best time playing in Andy’s Backyard. Remember, all toys need a break so I recommend refueling at
Woody’s Lunchbox. If you would rather enjoy a longer interactive meal try
Roundup Rodeo BBQ. This family-style BBQ allows you to continue your journey as a toy while dining. Be on the lookout for Andy though!
Cammy, I hope this helps and if there’s anything else you need, you know where to find us!
You’ve got a friend in me,
Shantel
