We are a family of 5, 2 adults 3 kids ages 16, 14 and 5 at time of travel in Oct 2012. Is it better for us to book 2 separate rooms or a family suite? Which is the cheapest option for us?

    Hi Dana,

At a glance, I looked over the prices for two rooms at the All-Star Music Resort compared to a family suite at the same resort during the fall weekdays during 2012 (prices subject to change).

Two rooms will cost $190 to $220 (preferred rooms cost more).  A family suite will cost $215.  So, they are mighty close in price if you'd rather have a preferred room (closer proximity to bus stops/main building).  If it matters, both options will provide you with two bathrooms.  The family suite will have a small kitchenette (frig and microwave) with a bedroom with a queen bed and the family room area where the furniture converts for sleeping.  Booking two connecting rooms won't have the kitchenette, but it would have 4 beds.  Just an fyi, my teens don't like the furniture/bed combos because they don't feel they are too comfortable -- but this can certainly vary from person to person.
