Hi Sabrina!
So happy to have you onboard as you chart a course for an adventure at sea with your family. Think of me as your first mate as you captain your cruise planning waters. So let’s get this Deck Party started!
First, I will say that you will need two staterooms to accommodate a family of 6 Guests as even the largest stateroom categories sleep a maximum of 5 Guests. The only staterooms that will sleep 6 or more Guests are Concierge Level staterooms on the
Disney Magic and the
Disney Wonder (called Concierge Royal Suites with Verandah). These suites accommodate up to 7 Guests. Looking at the photos of these suites may make you want to pack your bags now!
To find out the best setup for your party of 6, I suggest that you
contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist! I’m certain that they will be able to help you land on the best stateroom combination and give you all the potential options. Or you can check out your options on the
Disney Cruise Line website by entering the number in your travel party and how many staterooms you need. Once you click “Add to Cart” the site will then calculate the price for your itinerary and the required deposit.
The website also allows you to narrow your search by stateroom category (Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, or Concierge), and you can even look for
connecting staterooms. That way, you could leave the door open between the two staterooms during your cruise and feel more connected with your family members. The deck plans of each ship clearly indicate where the connecting staterooms are located. Read up on all the stateroom category descriptions to ensure you are getting the exact setup that you need for your party.
Log back onto planDisney anytime and we’ll be happy to help you make all your WONDERful cruise plans come true. WISHing you a MAGICal adventure at sea with your family!
SEA ya real soon!
