My family of 5, 2 adults, 3 kids ages 15, 12, & 9 are planning a trip for June 2015. We are trying to decide between Beach Club and AofA. We like the size and 2 bathrooms in AofA, but the location, theme, and pool of BC. Any recommendations?

    Leif:

The lure of two bathrooms, especially if your teenager is a girl, might tip Art of Animation not to mention its very strong theming which will soon become too childish for your children. Couple that with the probability that you may have your own car since you're from South Carolina giving you easy access to and from the parks and it's definitely worth a strong look. If your budget is a consideration, keep in mind that the price break in comparison to Beach Club could allow your family to enjoy a fireworks cruise, upgrade your tickets to the Water Parks & More option (which is arguably better than even Beach Club's fab pool) or allow you to spring for a meal atop the Contemporary at California Grill--all memory makers.

With all that said, though, two of my family's best vacations at Walt Disney World were when we stayed at the nearby Boardwalk and the Beach Club's sister hotel the Yacht Club. Proximity to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot not to mention the Boardwalk is priceless. You won't go wrong with either choice.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
