We are also a family of 5 (2 adults and kids ages 7, 6 and 5). We're planning to go to Disney World 2/2012 and wonder if you'd recommend one of the max 5-occupancy rooms at the deluxe level? Or do you think it would be too small? Thanks!

Hi Marina!

Thank you so much for your question! While we are a family of five, my kiddos are still in the (somewhat) smaller stage, and my stays at Deluxe resorts have either been solo or pre-children!

BUT...

I did ask some of my fellow 'moms' about the room size and a family of five with children about your age, and many have agreed that it's doable, especially in the rooms at the Disney's Polynesian Resort. I also know that the rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort would also be comfortable for a family of five.

If you're looking for something with an additional bathroom, look into the All-Star Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
