Ahoy, Sana! Thanks for sailing over to planDisney with your question!
Your family will love cruising together - there is something for everyone! It appears that you'll be on the
Disney Fantasy for your voyage. I recently did a similar itinerary aboard the Disney Dream and I think you're in for a ton of fun. My planDisney pals
Kristi and
Jana helped me brainstorm ideas for perfect days at port and aboard.
Day two of your cruise is a stop in Nassau, Bahamas and I think a little family shopping would be a nice way to enjoy the port. The reason is that I would return to the ship early to enjoy greeting some favorite Disney pals, see a first-run movie, and... prepare for
Pirate Night, which is that evening! While your littlest won't be old enough for a
Pirates League makeover, your oldest two "ARR." This experience was a favorite of my three kids. While there, you can snag some pirate gear for your littlest to wear or adopt a pet pirate bird. This is also a great time to enjoy parts of the ship with less crowds!
Of course, throughout your vacation, you will want to enjoy the toddler splash areas near the pool, Funnel Vision, and ice cream at
Eye Scream Treats. Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for movie times, character meet and greets, deck plans, and entertainment schedules. Your little one will also love the Broadway-style stage shows on board. Every production I've seen has been simply breathtaking - from Elsa to Tarzan, you never know who will show up!
For your stop in
Disney Castaway Cay, the family beach is perfect for toddlers with its calm waters and sandy beaches. My kids love playing in the sand for hours, and I think your youngest will adore it! Your little one will also love the Spring-A-Leak water play area - a pool-style splash pad my pal
Adrianna's kids adored! Your older kids might want to
rent snorkel gear or water floats at Gil's Fins and Boats - you can also pick up a life jacket for your 2.5-year-old here - to explore the fish and sea life. If your oldest kids are registered to participate in the Youth Clubs on board, they are also welcome to visit Scuttle's Cove while at Castaway Cay.
Other fun onboard activities are the self-paced
Midship Detective Agency game and Toddler Time (subject to availability). Both of these are perfect for the littlest Guests. Times can be found in the DCL Navigator App once onboard.
Sana, I hope this gives you ideas about how your littlest Mouseketeer can enjoy the family vacation. The
Traveling with Little Ones section of the Disney Cruise Line website is also a great resource. If you have any other questions, please visit us again. We would be happy to help!
Anchors away,
Melissa
