Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm happy to hear you're already hard at work in planning your next vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth.
With your family being a party of 5, the first thing I would recommend doing is booking your stay at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You can do this now through the
Disneyland Resort website! The way I typically book is by using the "Price Your Vacation" toolbar near the top of the screen - simply add in the dates of your trip, the makeup of your party, then select Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa from the hotel drop-down list and click "Find Hotels."
You'll then see a list of currently available room types that you can select from. When you find the one you like then click "Add to Cart." Next, you'll answer a few questions about your theme park tickets and can click the boxes for
Park Hopper Tickets and
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to get those added. Note that if your littlest one will be 3 or older during your trip, you'll need to purchase a theme park ticket for your little Mouseketeer as well.
Finally, you can follow the prompts on the checkout screen and then you're all set! After you've booked your trip, you can access the details and make or manage any reservations that you'd like on the
My Plans hub.
