My family, all adults, will be cruising on the Disney Magic in October. I know there is entertainment in the bars and clubs on the ship. Would you be required to purchase a beverage to sit and enjoy the music/entertainment?

    Hello Sharon!

Thanks for sailing by.  How exciting that you have a Disney Cruise Line adventure countdown under way.  The Disney Magic is my family's favorite ship.  We sailed to Europe on the Magic last summer and have a host of incredible memories.  I'm sure your family will soon have their own amazing memories!

Entertainment is a huge differentiator on a Disney Cruise Line vacation in my opinion.  There were be more options than your party can possibly fit into a single voyage, trust me!  From Broadway-style shows to smaller music, comedy and adults-only entertainment performances, each option will feature its own unique "wow" factor.  It is absolutely not necessary to purchase anything to avail yourself of the fabulous entertainment on board.  In fact, if you wanted to grab a soft drink from the self-service stations and bring it with you to enjoy a particular performance, that is perfectly acceptable.  Be sure to check out Keys, a 1950s-style, adults only venue that often features a piano player and amazing guest vocalists.

    Have a wonderful trip!
