Hiya, Deborah!
Welcome back to planDisney. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels –– in fact, it's even my
Disney Vacation Club Home Resort! I love how the Resort mixes traditional sophistication with a relaxed atmosphere. It's a great fit for everyone from grownups enjoying an adults-only vacation (especially with
Disney Springs only a short walk away), to families with children who can take advantage of the Resort's many activities. I think it's going to be the perfect fit for your upcoming family visit!
I've got some great news –– while the
2-Bedroom Villas at Saratoga Springs only sleep 9 Guests, your reservation can also include one infant Guest under age 3 that won't count against the room occupancy. In fact, I ran into this same situation with my infant twins during our last visit and we were able to register them and book our 2-Bedroom Villa as a part of 10 with no problem. Just note that each member of your party, including the infants, will need to be registered to the room, even if they don't technically count as a numbered occupant.
During your visit to
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, there's a hidden Resort gem that you won't want to miss ––
the Community Hall! Here, you'll find games, equipment rentals, crafts, and lots more. And while this area is unique to Disney Vacation Club Resorts, you don't need to be a Member to participate in Community Hall activities. In the past, my kids have loved making Mickey tie-dye t-shirts and decorating their own umbrellas for an extra special souvenir to bring home. And while some of the activities (like tie-dye) require a small fee, many of them are complementary. At Saratoga Springs, the Community Hall is located behind the High Rock Spring Pool, right next to the Win, Place or Show Arcade. Be sure to stop by and check it out during your stay!
I'm so glad you brought your question to planDisney, Deborah. I hope your family's upcoming stay at Disney's Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa is filled with pixie dust from beginning to end!
Have a Magical Day,
Amy
