We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (14,12,7,5). We are travelling from Australia in May to stay 5 nights. We won't have a car. To save money we thought of staying in a resort with a kitchen. Is there somewhere in Disney that sells groceries?

    Hello there Fiona!

I'm assuming that you will be staying at one of the Disney Deluxe Villas. Most of the resorts will have some type of a deli where you can purchase some of the essentials like milk, juice, and fruits. They are not equipped like a supermarket. There are some markets very close by and a taxi ride to one of the local markets would be in the forty to fifty dollar range round trip? I'm not one hundred percent sure on the price so don't quote me on it (remember they do charge for every minute they wait for you)... I know that a one way ride to the airport is sixty dollars and the supermarkets are MUCH closer.

You can also look into a delivery service. I know that many of my friends use GardenGrocer.com and their service is highly recommended! They will even drop the groceries off at the resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel! I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
