Our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children will be staying at the Yacht Club in late May 2016. My husband has a bad knee which prevents him from standing very long in lines. Is there any type of pass we can get to help speed up the time to get on rides?

    Hello again, Diane!

I'm happy to answer another question for you! I have a few ideas to help your husband enjoy your visit.

As I mentioned your previous question, you could rent an ECV for him to use during your stay. Most queues are ECV friendly so he can stay with your family and use the unit right up till it is time to board the attraction vehicle. Be sure to check out Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities for a detailed description of attraction access categories to help you prepare for your visit.

Utilizing FastPass+ will also help him reduce wait times. This complimentary service (included in your theme park admission) allows you to pre-schedule up to three FastPass+ experiences per day at one theme park. You stated previously that you are staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort so you can begin reserving experiences 60 days before your arrival.

If your husband prefers not to rent an ECV, you can visit any theme park Guest Relations Lobby to seek advice from a Cast Member. They can offer reasonable accommodations for your husband based on his particular needs, such as the Disability Access Service (DAS). The DAS is designed for those whose disability prevents them from waiting in a regular queue.

My space is limited, but I hope that I have given you a few suggestions to help make your family's visit successful. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
