Hi. My family of 6 (4 adults & 2 children) have made advance dining reservations for our upcoming trip in October. My question is if we are not all seated at the same table, will we have the automatic 18% gratuity added to our bill?

    Hi Laurie,

If your party of six has two separate reservations (as a party of two and a party of four) and are seated at separate tables, then you will have separate checks and an 18% gratuity will not automatically be added.

If, however, all six of you are on the same check (whether you are seated together or not), the 18% gratuity will likely be added automatically.  If you have a reservation for a party of six, rest assured that the Cast Members who are seating you will make every attempt to put you at the same table.

If your group is separated into a group of four and a group of two at separate tables against your wishes, you are welcome to speak to the restaurant's manager if you feel that the automatic gratuity has been added unfairly.  The Cast Members who manage Disney restaurants are always happy to speak with Guests who feel a charge has been added unfairly.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation this October!
