Our family has both adults and children on gluten free diets. Do you have any suggestions as to where the best dining locations are for this need which would satisfy the adults and children's appetites?

    Hi Heidi,

Walt Disney World is one of the best places for Guests who love to have a fantastic meal, but may be on a special diet. Most restaurants and Quick service stations offer some type of culinary option for those with dietary restrictions. For a group that has both adults and children, I would suggest dining at the many buffets within the Parks and Resorts. We personally love Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavillion of Epcot Center. There are so many different entrees to choose from, and if you inform the manager and chef about any dietary requests as soon as you arrive, they can walk you through the buffet and point out which items would be safe for you to try.

You may also want to check out the Special Dietary Requests page on the Walt Disney World website. This one page is packed with great information on how Walt Disney World strives to give all Guests with special dietary restrictions a culinary experience of a lifetime.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to stop by the Moms Panel and ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
