My family with 10 adults and 9 children are currently all under my account. Can I setup an account for each of the adults for them so I can link them thru family and friends?

    Hi N.E.Billington, welcome to planDisney!

My family recently watched "Cheaper by the Dozen" on Disney+ and I was shocked by the volume of people on the screen at any given time. I am similarly in awe of the fact that your My Disney Experience account currently manages the profiles of 18 other people. Your November visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the riverbend so let's discuss how to divvy up the magical workload.

My Disney Experience accounts are an important part of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You can view and make plans for anyone who appears on your Family & Friends list. Names that appear with the words "Profile managed by me" do not have their own My Disney Experience accounts either by choice or necessity; you must be 13 years old to create an account.

I fully support your desire to setup My Disney Experience accounts for the other adults in your party. Here's how to do that while keeping all of your vacation plans in tact:

    1. Ask the adults in your party to create their own My Disney Experience accounts linked to their personal email accounts.
    2. Click "Update" next to an individual's name on your Family & Friends list.
    3. Click "Share planning with [adult's first name,]" enter their email address, and click "Continue."
    4. You will receive an email letting you know when each individual clicks the green "Accept" button in their Invitation to Connect email. At that time all of the vacation entitlements housed in your account (tickets, theme park reservations, dining reservations, etc) will automagically transfer to their account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends, which means you can still view and make plans for each other. These plans include purchasing Disney Genie+ service, booking Lightning Lanes, joining virtual queues, linking Disney PhotoPass photos, and more.
Once the adults in your party are connected to you, they can click "Add a Guest" on the bottom of their Family & Friends list to connect with everyone else in your party. Make this easy on them by ensuring that "My list is shared" appears next to your name at the top of your Family & Friends list. If not, click "Update" and "Share My List." Make sure the adults also download the My Disney Experience mobile app to their mobile devices to use on your park days.

I hope this information helps your family stay connected during your visit. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any follow-up questions.

    Choose magic,
