    Our family of 2 adults and 3 children ages 14,10, and 8 will be in WDW in May 2016 staying at the Yacht Club. Please take me through the process as to when to use my disney experience for wrist bands, dining, and fast passes and when do I start this?”

    Hi Diane,

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Yacht Club Resort is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels! You can easily walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios or take a water taxi if you prefer. You can also travel to Magic Kingdom Park by way of the Epcot Monorail, giving you access to 3 Theme Parks without needing to use Disney Bus Transportation. Disney's BoardWalk is just a short walk from the Resort and has lots of great entertainment in the evening and, in my opinion, some of the best restaurants on property.

    Once you link your Theme Park Tickets and Resort Reservations to your My Disney Experience account, your Resort Hotel Reservation and any Dining Reservations you have already booked will appear in your plans. You can then use My Disney Experience at any time to book additional Dining Reservations, make FastPass+ Reservations for Rides and Attractions, modify plans, check Theme Park hours and Attraction wait times, access PhotoPass photos, and even purchase merchandise. Once you check-in to your Resort Hotel your MagicBands will be activated. You can then use your MagicBands to access your Hotel Room, for Theme Park entry, for meal and merchandise purchases, and at the FastPass+ touchpoint kiosks at Attractions. 

    Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app onto your phone so that you can easily access your plans during your visit.
