Hiya, Sara! Welcome to planDisney!
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a great resort, Sara! If you’ve never stayed there, I’m confident that you and your family will enjoy your stay here. There’s a lot to love about the resort, not least of which is the quick and easy access to the
Disney Skyliner!
To answer your question, Sara, you’re correct! There is a 5th sleeper option at Caribbean Beach Resort. I visited the
Walt Disney World Resort website, and I suspect I saw the same thing you are seeing. There was no mention of the 5th sleeper option. Having stayed in a 5th sleeper room with my family in May of 2025, I know they exist! I spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that they are still available to book. When you book a Standard Room or Preferred Room and enter the size of your travel party, the resort will prioritize 5th sleeper rooms based on the size of your party. Based on your party of six, including your infant, you would be prioritized for one of the 5th sleeper rooms. As of this writing, you won’t see it as a separate category on the website.
As an extra precaution, I suggest
contacting Walt Disney World Resort directly once you’ve booked to have a request put on your reservation for a 5th sleeper room. Making this request isn't required, but as a meticulous planner, I find comfort in taking that extra step!
The resort has so many great amenities and recreation options, Sara.
The Fuentes del Morro pool at the resort is phenomenal. It’s themed to a colonial Spanish fortress and features two waterslides and the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area for younger Guests.
Sebastian’s Bistro has a lovely all-you-care-to-enjoy menu of Caribbean-inspired dishes, including the House-made Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. It is truly delicious! And just like Ariel, you'll want to be where the people are! Thankfully, the Disney Skyliner makes getting to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT a breeze. The main hub for the Disney Skyliner is located at the resort, giving you quick and convenient access to both parks. That’s hard to beat!
I hope this answers your question, Sara! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical vacation, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at
planDisney. We’re always happy to help!
Happy planning!
