Hi Jenni! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
The fall is such a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and this year, because the Resort is still celebrating its
50th anniversary, there are even more special happenings going on! Between the opening of new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and the return of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you and your family are going to have to make time to see and do it all!
I really think that staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is the very best way to feel surrounded by the magic throughout your entire trip. You'll have amazing benefits such as Early Theme Park Entry to the Theme Parks every day, the location of these Resorts just can't get better, and you never know when some character friends might pop up around your Resort! Just the other day I was at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Donald Duck himself was sitting in the lobby greeting Guests! Your kids are sure to get a kick out of this if you happen to run into their favorite characters!
There are
Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort that can accommodate a party of your size. This Resort is a favorite of my family because it lies right along the
Disney Skyliner line and my kids absolutely love the giant but whimsical statues around the Resort. It really makes you feel like you've jumped right into some of your favorite Disney movies! While this Resort does sleep six adults comfortably, and would probably be your best value, I see that you may wish for a little more space for your party.
If you're looking for everyone in your party to have their own room to sleep in you could either look into three separate Guest rooms, perhaps with connecting doors in between, or live in the lap of luxury in a Disney Deluxe Villa. These villas, found at Resorts such as
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, among others, offer 1, 2, or even 3-bedroom villas, big enough for everyone to have their own space with extra bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining area and usually a porch or balcony!
As of right now, the
Disney Dining Plan is currently paused, though we know many Walt Disney World Guests, including ourselves, are anxious to hear about its return! I would suggest checking the
Disney Parks Blog frequently, as this will probably be the first place to announce the return of beloved dining plans!
I hope you're able to find the perfect place to stay, but please feel free to come back and visit if you need any other planning help!
