Frank from QC Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 children age 6, 9, 11. Would it be possible to stay in a room of 4 occupancy? The kids are small and 2 beds is enough for all 5 of us.

Bonjour, Frank and welcome to planDisney!

We thank you for consulting planDisney, and I feel so fortunate as a fellow Canadian Disney fan to be able to assist you further with your accommodation considerations at Walt Disney World Resort.

As a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel Guest, you will enjoy unique benefits surrounded by magical experiences throughout your stay, I am so pleased to hear that you will Be Our Guest!

Frank, you will have the option of selecting a Guest Room in all price categories, from value all the way to deluxe and it all depends on your travel style and budget.

Disney Resort Hotels in the Value Category that accommodate larger families are those that offer Family Suites such as Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. These feature a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, two bathrooms and a comfortable sitting area.

Disney Resort Hotels in the Moderate Category offer Guest Rooms for up to five Guests, featuring two queen-size beds and a pull-down bed which accommodates a typical child of up to age 10 quite well. Also, you can opt to enjoy the comforts of home in a forested environment with The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort which offer a bedroom, a full kitchen and a living room area, not to mention a porch area with a picnic table and charcoal grill – doesn’t that sound fantastic?

Many Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels also offer accommodations for five Guests, featuring two queen size beds and a day bed, which can easily accommodate an adult comfortably. And if you really want all the comforts of home, you can opt for accommodations in the Disney Deluxe Villa Category to enjoy multiple-bedroom units, full kitchens, and dining and living areas.

    Tips:
Once you book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package that includes accommodation and theme park admission, kindly proceed to book your Disney Park Pass – Theme Park Reservations for each day of valid theme park admission, as this is the method of visiting the theme parks, at this time.

Download the My Disney Experience App to manage your plans before and during your visit, and don’t forget that you can book your Disney Dining Reservations 60-days before your stay, and as a benefit, up to 10 nights if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel.

Frank, it was my great pleasure assisting you today, I would like to introduce my fellow Canadian and French-speaking planDisney panelist, Ariane F. for further assistance with your planning. You are also welcome to stop by planDisney to ask me for more first-hand tips - merci beaucoup!

    Best Disney Wishes!
