Hi. My family (2 adults, 5 chil, ages 6, 8, 9, 11, 13 are going for the first time may 10-18. Where can I find if any of the rides are sched to be closed. We are not staying in Disney, does that mean we cannot use extra magic hours?

    Hi Erica,

It's great to talk with a fellow New Englander!! You must be so excited about your upcoming vacation!

You can find the park hours as well as the scheduled refurbishments for each park by going to www.disneyworld.com.  On the main page pull down the menu titled PLAN.  Click on Park hours.  At the top of this page you'll see that it says "View Hours for 10 Days Beginning:"  Simply click on the calendar icon and select May 10 as your start date.  You'll then be given the hours for each park. It will also list any scheduled refurbishments.  Click HERE to be directed to the Park Hours page.

Currently, Muppet Vision 3-D at Hollywood Studios will be closed from April 24 - May 14.  The schedule is subject to change, so be sure to check frequently.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
