Hi, Family 2 ad 3 kids will be at DW dec29-jan4. We are staying with friends in 2br kidani village. On days we do not go to parks, can you recommend some fun things to do with 4, 6, 7 yr olds? This is our 2nd visit and have 5 day MYW. Tks - love panel!

    Hi Laura!

There are so many fun things to do on non-park days!  You are staying at one of my favorite resorts, so take a resort day and explore the Animal Kingdom Lodge!  If you get lucky and have some nice weather, head on down to the pool, where the kids can splash around and take turns going down the slide.  Check the resort's activity calendar and pick some fun things to do.

Resort hop!  One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is stroll through some of the resorts.  The Grand Floridian has a life size gingerbread house.  My kids love taking a look at that and then picking out a delicious gingerbread treat to take with them.  The Beach Club has a gingerbread carousel.  It's amazing!

Head on over to Downtown Disney.  Take the kids into Once Upon a Toy and let them play with Mr. Potato Head.  Grab an ice cream treat at Ghiradelli.  (My kids can eat ice cream on the coldest of days!)  How about renting a pontoon boat!  You can rent them right at Downtown Disney and your whole family can sail together.  The view is amazing down the river.

Check out Fort Wilderness resort.  The kids can look at the horses and even take pony rides for a small fee.

Miniature golf anyone?  This is always a fun family activity and with 3 courses to choose from, you can't go wrong!

    Have a magical day!
